Many of us love our sport, watching or playing. Those of us who play sport are likely to pick up the occasional injury which can keep us away from our passion. This applies equally to the weekend netballer or the serious athlete.

With many years of experience between us, there are not many sports injuries we haven’t treated at Eastern Suburbs Physiotherapy.

Chris Woodman, is a former Physical Education teacher, has been involved with a multitude of sporting activities. Chris had an extensive football playing career, including five years as a senior player with the Melbourne Football Club. He is still actively involved with junior football, netball and basketball teams.

Ruchi Kalra, has a keen interest in managing sports injuries. She is an active badminton player and has been successfully managing sports injuries related to golf, badminton, tennis, netball and various forms of martial arts.

We will get you back to your sport in the shortest time safely possible. But why wait for injuries to occur? It is a really good idea to check in occasionally to ensure that your musculo-skeletal system is in the best order for your particular sport – prevention is a lot better than cure!
